Sasuke didn't need it. Kishi nerfing Sasuke's fighting style by making him fight brawn with brawn over brains was more of a nerf than taking his sword.

Sasuke wasn't also being intellectual and analytical like he always used to be. Kishi randomly making Sasuke loose his sword makes zero sense. Was it because Sasuke could solo Kaguya with his sword? Or was it so that he could solo Naruto with his sword? Or maybe both.. Who knows?

Naruto got a lot more nerfed than Sasuke, i don't know why sasuke fapboys complain about a sword, when Naruto didn't even use TSB (kishimoto made them stalemate with susano arrows, i was like a joke, we all know TSB >> Susano arrows).

I mean naruto didn't even use one of his new RSM powers, he just used the old boring Kurama avatar powered up by rikudo chakra... a sword means nothing compared to that.
