Sasuke's being Rational

Sasuke is the last rational person alive. Unlike Naruto, he see's what has to be done to bring the world to peace. Naruto thinks its a good idea to just let all the Bijuu be free, as if people won't try to capture them, as if people won't team up to gain the power of the 10 tails, just like how the akatsuki did.

Letting all the Bijuu go is just resetting the system. New wars will arise over the Bijuu, and more death will happen from trying to contain bijuu. And just because Black Zetsu can no longer instigate hatred between shinobi doesn't mean people with evil intentions won't try to gain the power of Bijuu for personal use.

Now, I disagree with Sasuke in that killing the Bijuu is the answer. Naruto, Sasuke, and the Gokage should separate them evenly among the different villages and put into trusted ninja, like Killer Bee or part II Gaara, so there can be at least a power balance. Even though I disagree with Sasuke's view on handling the Bijuu it is the most reasonable. see how Naruto just wants to free them.

I have a mutual feeling towards Sasuke killing the Gokage though. The system they've been using to try and bring peace has not been working, but that's not a worthy reason for them to lose their lives. If Sasuke wanted to be completely reasonable, he should have done it the way Itachi wanted and ran for hokage. There he could influence his opinions on how the government should work in a more reasonable manner. I guess because of all of Sasuke's bad rep, and his past, he won't get the opportunity to even become hokage, so destroying the current system allows him to create his own.


Don't get me wrong, Sasuke's not right. He's wrong, but Naruto's even more wrong for thinking freeing all the Bijuu will work out fine.

Naruto has already begun to change the shinobi world for the better. For once all of the nations unified, and the world saw momentary peace. Sasuke is threatening that peace, and as such will be struck down. At least Naruto's way was leading to a better future. Sasuke's way would not only fail, but make things worse.

Not in my eyes. The Gokage realized the mistake of previous generations and united against the ultimate foe. They brought the shinobi world together to fight against a common enemy, even befriending one another. Killing them does absolutely nothing, neither does forcefully trying to assume dominance. People will not only disagree, but that would only cause more problems in the near future. If you want to lead, you have to be deemed worthy by the people, not by yourself.

there's nothing rational at all about Sasuke. Dude had the benefit of having a front row seat to learn from what happened to multiple ppl who took it upon themselves to solve everything and still insisted on trying to do it himself. Now for the biju you just described the system that was already in place.
It's becaUs of the akatsuki, which spanned from yahoo/nagato, invaded by obito, because of Madara, which was BZ's plan, that threw the order out of whack when they began collecting the biju.

In fact, everything was pretty much fine before them.

Sasuke is Getting revenge for itachi against the system that made him kill his clan and take on the "rough ninja" façade. Plain and simple.
