Sasukes Amaterasu trigger for Tobi?

Ok, do I have a question that I need some clarification on something. So do you remember when Itatchi implanted Amaterasu into Sasukes Sharingan? Well my question is how did Sasukes eye know to trigger Amaterasu? If I remember correctly I thought Itatchi made it to protect Sasuke If he ever was to look in to Tobis sharingan? Now correct me if I am wrong but I need some clarification on this, because I'm also beginning to hear rumors that Itatchi planted something on Tobis face. Can someone clarify which one Itatchi did to Tobi, and also what did Itatchi do to Tobi to let Sasukes Sharingan pick up on it and trigger Amaterasu? This is actually going to help my theory on who I think Tobi is, because if I'm correct Sasuke and Itatchi had to of know of whoever Tobi is and had to have seen Tobi at some point in time in their life right? So on order for his sharingan to be activated like Itatchi wanted it to be they would have had to recognize that sharingan to protect Sasuke. If someone could shed some light on my question I would greatly appreciate it. My theory here would disprove the whole Obito, or Izuna theories even more than I can already disprove them. Ok thickest make sense because Sasuke sees Tobis sharingan plenty of times even when Tobi has his mask on. Sasuke would still be able to see his eye. Why doesnt it go off when he very first sees his eye before he took his mask off and or today in the manga when he sees him and teams up with Tobi? It doesn't make sense also why wouldn't Itatchi want Sasuke I know who Tobi is? What's the big deal there?

Busy because he has his mask on, his sharingan is still not covered. I mean he's got to see somehow? What wxactly is this jutsu suppose to work, because sasuke sees to is sharingan a lot of times now, why did it not go off during the war, or any time after that? This makes me to believe that it might not be Tobis sharingan that triggers this. Any ideas in this anyone?
