So if your parents want you to become a doctor/engineer, and if say you have an interest in music and want to become a singer. So If you follow your own dream , you are a disgrace to your parents?
We are all people with different personalities and different interests and have different sense of justice.
If a person slaps you in the face, you might want to slap him back or threaten him or just laugh it off.
Anyone who says sasuke is a disgrace to itachi is a sasuke hater with no thinking ability and/or don't have an opinion of his own.
Sasuke clearly stated he understands Itachi's approach but does not want to follow it.
I think there's a stark difference in pursuing different careers and killing people that are not necessarily enemies to get your way in the world. Also, my argument is more nuanced than just saying that Sasuke refuses to be a carbon copy of Itachi and he's the worst for it. Itachi NEVER wanted Sasuke to be like him, yet Sasuke's killing people to achieve peace, just like Itachi did. Itachi did want Sasuke to change the world, in his way. Yet although his (Sasuke's) way is different logistically, it's NOT different, in my opinion, philosophically or politically.
In a nutshell, Sasuke doesn't want to follow the way of Itachi like he didn't want to follow the way of Madara, yet he's doing something very similar. The way he's going about peace will only continue the cycle of hatred.
By the way, I'm not a Sasuke hater. I'm more of a Sakura hater, but that's another thread...
