but not like he was in the last, think about it, it had to fit with 700's 2 year skip, as well as the future pairings, and this upcoming miniseries. thats not my reasoning, but it does back up what i heard about kishi being involved in the writing of the storyline and that its cannon.

It is canon :| if Kishi himself considers it part of canon material, then it is canon. Unless you wanna be like NS shippers on fb that say "The Last and Chapter 700 is NOT canon" and deny that what Kishi says is canon, is actually canon... The Last is canon - Kishi stated it was what happened between chapter 699 and 700. And he also made that "After The Last" short manga so it means The Last is canon. Duhh~
