I used to dislike him a lot. But after coming to this forum, my mind changed about him. Even though I like Naruto more than him, I realize that he is important to the story. Out of Team Seven he has actually achieved most of his goals. He is a ever changing character, who does not stay the same for ever. His multiple roles in this manga has gotten me to be his fan. He has this tough looking demeanor, that I can't really count out. Sasuke is a true avenger, He is a true ninja to. Without him this manga would be like Barney. He has made this manga more badass.

The problem with Sasuke's character is Kishi tried to write him as a badass like Vegeta, the crucial difference between them is that while they could both be called anti-heroes, Vegeta is more in the mould of the tough, take-no-shit type, the Wolverine or Solid Snake-esque character that has almost universal appeal. Sasuke, on the other hand, is much more melancholic, brooding and emotionally weaker in a softer, more passive/vulnerable way, which earns him the label of ‘emo’.

Suspense initiator, Intelligent, baller looking, cool personality. All in all, makes the show much more interesting when present, while also giving a cool tone to the panels.

The problem with Sasuke is that no matter how much power Kishi gives him, he just comes out as a petulant whiny brat with emotional issues, there's nothing intimidating or menacing about him like Pein or Tobi, he's just annoying.

He is stronger than naruto. He one of the most interesting and best written character in the manga. He is unpredictable and unlike most of the character in the series. Only a few reason I could make a an essay why sauske is my fav.

I always considered Naruto to be like Vegeta. He is more wolverinish to me. I don't think Kishi tried to make a Vegeta out of Sasuke. He tried to make a Hei.

It's true, there's nothing intimidating nor imposing about Sasuke, we're all just waiting for Naruto to beat some sense into him so we can wrap-up this series for good.

Well I agree on that note, Vegeta was a Great badass

Perhaps one problem is, he is always Negative about everything. Some positive attitudes wouldve done him a lot of good.

Sasuke's character has been shoddily written for a long time, even up until now now he stands under the shadow of Itachi's maturity and complexity.
