When Naruto and Sakura met Sasuke at Orochimarus hideout. He told them that he would sacrfice his life and body to Orochimaru for the goal of revenge.
After or before (dont remember) he changed his goal of revenge against Itachi to revenge "for" Itachi. He has said that he has 2 goals.
1. The ressurection of his clan.
2. The revenge, right now against konoha for Itachi.
In Madaras labarotory you can see that he has collected most of the Uchihas eyes from the massacre.
This is where Kabuto comes into the picture. Kabuto has said that all he would need is the remaining parts of Shisuis eye which Danzo crushed to resurect Shisui. So he could resurect basicly the entire clan from using these eyes.
This is Sasukes wet dream. And Kabuto knows this. And Kabuto wants Sasuke in return for giving Madara battlepower. So Kabuto is going to give Sasuke a trade. He wants Sasukes body/life in return for resurecting the Uchiha clan. This would ensure the ressurection and the revenge since they could do their coup.
