How was Sasuke considered in the eyes of the people after the war ended...we all saw Naruto being the hero with girls drooling over him but what about Sasuke...? He became a wanderer and Kakashi implied that he was let off with no repercussions because of the reasons he said here..........

Now we saw in the Boruto movie that boruto, mitsuki even the Kage's, Shikamaru heed to him and respect him....
but what about the common people......Is it the same case as it was with Madara and Hashirama....or is it the different scenario?

I think initially people might have been vary/afraid of him but slowly they too would have accepted him sort of a Guardian angel/ the dark knight of konoha? What do you guys think?

I dont think normal people/mass civilians knew about him a lot unlike legendary figure and war machine that was Madara Uchiha.

Only people that knew really well about Sasuke were his friends, teachers and Kages.

People never saw Sasuke wage war or killed large number of civilians like Pain

By that I say people saw Sasuke like other high profile Shinobi. Thats all

In the war I remember people were cheering Sasuke on to burn down the Juubi. I think most people dont care, remember or dont know the bad things Sasuke had done or would've done. Sasuke is also a good looking boy so they will also probably be easily charmed by his looks and besides that he no longer has any bad intentions.


So after the war initially people in the Leaf, forgave him or didn't know he was evil.
He was appreciated by many for his aid
The samarui probably hold some grudge against him but eventually forgave him
Raikage most likely convinced his people to forgive him

The Manga is Naruto not Sasuke. Naruto the Hero not Sasuke the one time Traitor. So to expected Sasuke to be treated like Naruto is not logical,Sasuke had to perform penance to earn respect.

Well, Itachi's is considered or may even be confirmed to be canon.
I don't see why the light novels wouldn't be canon since Kishi supervised and played a role in their creations and publishings.
