Remember when Sasuke Kidnapped Bee for the Akasuki(but it was a leg of the 8 tails transformed) and everyone in the cloud village was fooled, at this time Naruto was fighting pain, after the fight the Cloud Ninja came to the leaf village with a request to take out Sasuke.

The one thing I dont get is why did Naruto take a beating from those Cloud Fodders, did he actually believe those weaklings could kill him, by that time he would have the EMS and he could have crushed them all

We havent seen much of them, also im not bashing, compared to Sasuke they arnt all that strong

I think he still had MS during that time though. Isn't this before the implant of Itachi's eye? I can't remember. Either MS or EMS yeah Sasuke would have stomped them anyways. But maybe that's why Naruto took the beating knowing they would get themselves killed if they were to find him.

Naruto did it to make a point. If he told him and they went after Sasuke, others would want to avenge Sasuke - which really doesn't make any sense, but whatever.
