Sasuke?

Just curious why the anime hasn't shown his appearance along with the EMS reveal yet? It was in the previous(!) opening and the manga showed it during Naruto's appearance when battling the 3rd Raikage. Any thoughts?

Perhaps they integrated the scene in the opening thus didn't bother to put it in the anime, seeing how short it is.

Well, they wanna focus on Jinchuuriki and Kages vs Madara fight right now. I truly don't know when they are planning to show him. :|

You gotta think. Sasuke hasn't been apart of the war for a while, if anything after the Kabuto thing and a few paces up he was going to destroy konoha and finds out its empty, if the anime does pick up to sasuke then I think this is the part we'll see first,

To be honest, I started reading from chapter 599, so between where the anime is now and that chapter, i'm fuzzy on the details. I know Sasuke comes out of the 'cave' and takes off and meets with Itachi... that should be bound to happen soon 'cause their battle with Kabuto needs to take place at the right time... in correspondance with other events taking place.

I took a peek at the next chapter being covered which shows a little of Suigetsu and Jugo. perhaps they'll show that with Sasuke attached to it, who knows.

How is it a mistake? If you think about it, saving the scene for later works out a lot better

I'd be confused too if I started reading the manga at 599, if I were you I'd take the time and go back to the beginning of the five kage summit and start from there, there were a few good fights during those chs as well.

They'll show it when they Suigetsu and Jugo in the next episode or they'll show him when he meets edo Itachi.

Ie, it's not that I'm confused... I know what will happen, just the minor details are left out, of which most are irrelevant to the plot. Thought there was maybe something I was missing in correspondance with Sasuke's return and coming in contact with Itachi.

I could start reading, but I won't take away the pleasure of watching it with the anime then, from Tobi's revealing and on I will enjoy seeing those wonderful moments animated.

I think that Sasuke will be shown after Bijuu Mode in the anime. Remember, he got out of the Mountain Graveyard in chapter 574, so I guess that the animators will put together the scene from chapter 553 that you mentioned and 574 together in one episode. I mean, if the animators were to show Sasuke for such a little period, his fanboys would've been mad to see 15-20 fillers after that, right? Although it was a huge mistake to put the EMS scene in the opening... :|
