Why take away Sasuke's go-to weapon and make him weaker yet keep everything about Naruto? It seems a little unfair to Sasuke.

Sasuke without Sharingan is still an Uchiha and can still progress at ALOT of jutsu. Fire style due to his blood and Lightniing style due to his chakra nature.

Without Nine-tails Naruto would have died years ago when Sasuke drove a Chidori through his chest.
Without Nine-tails Naruto wouldn't be a main character. Simply the son of the 4th and no skill to use jutsu.
