Hmm Chidori is an A rank jutsu, while Katon goukakyuu no jutsu is a C Rank jutsu, it is kinda unfair to compare these two jutsu learning speed due to the difficulty difference.

True, but as mentioned by others, Sauce is a genius. So yeah it's an impressive feat, but at the same time it's still a relatively common jutsu. The reason it was so special is because most genin don't learn an elemental nature until like chunin level. Sasuke learning it early shows he's talented, but it doesn't change the fact that FRS is still much more difficult to learn/create than Fireball jutsu.

No one was there to really teach Naruto that since he himself completed an incomplete jutsu. Which was my point in this earlier post.

Fire is considered Uchiha Mind just like gentle fist to Huyga. Everyone can master gentle fist other than Huyga, but the difficulty to master it is extremly high while Hyuga can easily master it.
It is easy to see the difference between kid version able to learn fire element quicker than older version + sharingan to learn lightning element.
