Sasuke is a prodigy child, but nowhere near Kakashi's level. He'd still be a decent ninja with Raiton and Katon though.

We can't fully grasp how he would be if he didn't have the Sharingan.The Sharingan is the main part of his powers,he must of spent a great deal of time mastering it ,since he always uses it,and has such mastery of it.If he never had the Sharingan then it's safe to say he would be developing more techniques,new ones that we he deosn't have in the canon storyline,and of course we can't use count them here cause we don't know them.

But nonetheless He would Definitely be at Kakashi's level by 17.

that's to much for haters to fathom. Sasuke was called a genius that surpassed Orochimaru. He'll at least be Minatos level or above even without ever having the sharigan. The reason Sasuke relies on it now is because it's part of his arsenal. Common sense should tell you a ninja would utilize their most valuable asset.

Nicely put. People forget that even Kakashi stated he got 'lazy' after relying on Sharingan, when it's not even a part of his DNA. The capacity to awaken Sharingan is in Uchiha blood, hence the reason to rely on it becomes even more pivotal. It's only natural that he would build his entire arsenal around his own blood-line limit.

Without it, it doesn't change the fact that Sasuke is a rare prodigy. He has the capacity to learn faster and develop techniques on his own. I am sure Sharingan didn't magically grant him the ability to make several Chidori variants. If he can do this much in a short period of two and a half years, along with Kenjutsu mastery, and speed, I cannot see what would hold Sasuke back to make something more for himself.

Many ninja have certain thing they can use to their advantage from birth. It can be kkg, reserves, natural affinity, intelligence, physical power, heck even limbs.

True that Sasuke had range advantage in weapon compared to Asuma, but considering the difference in numbers is great he did well above a jounin in this department. And that's just a CQC comparasion as his other aspects like shrukenjutsu, ninjutsu, intelligence he is a lot more.

It is normal sharingan users rely on sharingan but he could develop other ways of genjutsu.
