I actually think Sasuke will surpass his brother...

I think Itachi maybe (strong maybe) more gifted but Sasuke is FAR more driven to succeed so he will eventually surpass his big brother (especially when you consider that his brother was dead and will probably be dead again soon)...

Although Sasuke is a close second to his brother, he is some years younger and at this stage in the Manga Itachi probably has him...

I agree with you 100%.
Sasuke won't be like his brother but better. Sasuke still has much to learn and basically is learning as the brothers fight Kabuto. Would you want Sasuke to be like Itachi? Whats the fun in that nor whats the point in that? If they wanted Sasuke to be like Itachi then Kish might as well kept Itachi alive. Everyones different in their own way-- Ever heard that cliche? Well it's true . Itachi might as well be put in the Psyco Category to right? killing your own family, clan. Sasuke's Eyes have evolved. And soon i think they might go up a notch to match Naruto, even the odds in Power. My theory is Sasuke gets Rinnegan. So yeah they're different no duh. I disagree. Sasuke is above his brother in raw power, but Itachi has the edge in intelligence, skill, and experience. As for their personalities I agree. Itachi puts his love for the village ahead of anything else even his friends and family. Sasuke isn't like that and he never will be.

So majority of you think that sasuke will eventually surpass itachi-san. Theres only one thing i can say.. "Lets see if your illusions become reality." You shouldnt have too much hopes in yourself. Sasuek could reach a great but on the othe rhand, he could become the biggest failure! For all we knwo, masashi-san could use plot no justu to kill sasuke instantly during the current fihgt with kabuto. "I persoanlly despise sasuke."

Its funny how people wana bash Sasuke because of being 'mentally and emotionally unbalanced' compared to his brother, forgetting that it was said brother's own fault for that in the first place. Itachi was the one who betrayed and killed the clan, was the one who totured a 6/8 year old boy with an s class technique and then topped it off by lecturing him about hate being the true source of strength. People also tend to ignore the fact that Sasuke unlocked his sharingan at that time, when he 6/8 and Itachi used a genjutsu to make him forget that he did.

In other words, not only did Itachi stunt Sasuke's emotional and mental growth, he also stunted his power growth by making him forget he had unlocked the sharingan.

Further more, Itachi was loved and supported by everyone in the clan (before he joined A.N.B.U) and received all the attention and training from his dad. He even became Tobi's apprentice, Sasuke on the other hand, was completely ignored by his father, who only seemed to care about Itachi (before Itachi started acting strangely) and whenever he asked to be trained by Itachi, the guy always said he was too busy.

Itachi fanboys have no right claiming that Itachi was more talented or wiser then Sasuke, when he was the one that stunted the boy's growth in the early stages in the first place.
