Sasuke will never be better than Itachi

Even with all his upgrades and powerups he will never surpass Itachi. He is nowhere near Itachi's intelligence and will never be. At Sasukes age Itachi was already a genius.
Itachi managed to escaped Edo Tensei, defeated Orochimaru, defeated Edo Nagato, defeated Kabuto, stopped Edo Tensei saving the lifes of milions. He knows all the tech's of the Uchiha, Like Izanami/Izanagi and has YATA + SOT + PS.

Sasuke will never reach this level, even with his asspull powers, even if he somehow single handedly managed to kill Madara he would still not be at the same level as Itachi was. He lacks the intelligence and strategy that Itachi had. Asspull's can only give powers, not intelligence or experience.

1) You're over hyping itachi. He could see the issues in his clan, he wasn't like an iq genius. He didn't escape edo tensei on purpose, the bird was activated upon seeing a sharingan. KA broke his edo tensei. He used an op asspull jutsu tailored specifically for kabuto. Nagato was fighting 3 op people, and kabuto was controlling him so he couldn't sense the totsuka blade (kabuto didn't know about nagato's sensing abilities remember?) Orochimaru isn't all that great, and there weren't even a million people in the war man. There were only 800,000 shinobi, half of whom were lost fighting the zetsu clones. Itachi ain't all that great.
2) Current sasuke would whoop him. His amaterasu is better (enton), his susano'o is bigger, and he's immune to itachi's tsukyomi
