Naruto and Sasuke suppose to be yin and yang.They both develop together in opposite way but in same path at the end .Since Naruto was view by the tailbeast to be the SO6P while fighting his parallel (obito) ,Sasuke will be view by people as being the next so6p while fighting Madara ,his parallel.I know alot of people will try to bash me but it true that Sasuke will or might have some experience with so6p inorder to defeat Madara who knew everything about the sage power and history.Orichimaru said that Sasuke have not reach his full potential yet but he will surpass madara .

Nobody is going to compare sasuke to the sage.

He and his ideals shown so far and what he has been thinking to himself since he got the the battlefield is nothing like the sage in anyway.

And he is going to attempt to kill the tailed beast which is not what the sage wants for them.

He just might be viewed as a ally once this is over but,by no means will people think he is like the sage.

Naruto is already fulfilling that role because he cares about everyone and is attempting to save the tailed beast.

You said it in your own OP, obito is narutos parallel not sasuke. Obito was the man the toad sage spoke about in his prediction and displays many characteristics relating to the sage and his sons.

Sasuke hasn't shown any such parallels except for being an uchiha. Sasuke like everyone else in the manga is taking a back seat to naruto. Story wise it doesn't make sense for kishi to start relating sasuke to the sage since there hasn't been foreshadowing. If being friends with the sages reincarnation is a criteria for meeting the sage then most of the alliance is going to have a chat with him.
