Sasuke will have more of an involvement in Madara's end than Obito

Obito is more of Naruto, Minato and Kakashi (maybe even Gai's) problem. Sasuke has more reasons to fight Madara than Obito. Sasuke has been contrasted to Madara on numerous occasions. Here's some of their similarities:
-Both are the only members to awaken their EMS
-Both felt betrayed Konoha
-Both felt betrayed by their friends (Naruto and Hashirama respectively)
-Both lost their brothers (Itachi and Izuna)

This is why I think Sasuke will be more involved with Madara than Obito. Naruto is the parallel of Obito so it's straight forward why he will face him, so Sasuke should be the same.

Obito is Naruto's fight. Always was. Madara is for Sasuke for reasons you mentioned.
