not even remotely saying that that is the direction the manga will go... merely offering up a scenario in which this thread's theory could be right. Do I believe it will ever happen? not even a little, but it's still the best scenario for this theory to pan out.

also, can you link me to where Kishi said that? It isn't that I don't believe you but I would like to see it for myself especially considering the manga's name and main hero are both named Naruto

The first paragraph is meant as a response to you, the second and third was meant as a response to the OP.

Also, people who use the excuse that the Manga is called Naruto so that entitles him to this and that. Bull. All that proves is that the Manga is called Naruto and he happens to be the main character. We already have proof of other manga/anime titles with character names that have not been the strongest or other characters in the story were better than them in some way, etc.
