That happened ~3 years prior to Sasuke losing the cursed seal. He used the CS (thus training his ability to use it) for years.

LMAO at Sasuke not mastering CM2. Him being able to partially transform (like Kimmimaro) was proof that he did. Most CS users weren't capable of that and it wasn't something that Sasuke was able to do immediately.
