Cite some evidence maybe? There's some flaws in your logic: why would Sasuke need Orochimaru to visit the village elders? Also, why would Sasuke need powers comparable to BM to combat the village elders? He'd end up obliterating them and then he couldn't talk to them...

You don't know that he has new powers yet. The only place he could've gotten them from since his fight with Kabuto is when Itachi touched him, but that's not confirmed by any means.

Additionally, he doesn't need to show off his supposed "new powers" because it doesn't do anything for the story line.

If he does indeed have new powers and you're dead set on him showing them off, he could potentially fight the following people (rather than the village elders):
-Orochimaru
-Tobi
-Naruto
-Whomever the ones who know everything are (likely not the village elders).

If he has or will receive some sort of power up, why can't it wait until he inevitably faces Naruto?
