A couple of years ago I said in a thread that the only reason Madara had the Rinnegan(as the next step after the EMS) was so it could set it up so Sasuke could get it.
And we know that Kishi loves to foreshadow it.
NEXT there is no design for Sasuke for the movie.
My theory is that at the end of this battle Sasuke will die. But he would set up Izanagi to activate some time later and bring him back to life. Just like Madara did. And Sasuke will come back for the Naruto the Last movie.
The only reason that the explanation for Madara surviving his battle vs Hashirama by using delayed Izanagi was to foreshadow that Sasuke will do the same thing.
There were a lot of other ways he could've survived it. Like black Zatsu bringing him back to life, etc.
Honestly I don't see how after this battle they can both live and be friends.. And I don't see Naruto dying.
Kakashi dying? YES I can see him sacrificing himself to save Naruto and dying be Sasuke's hand.
The only thing though is that Naruto and Sasuke are both needed in order to free everybody from the tree. So idk how that's gonna work out. Maybe Sasuke beats up Naruto and puts him under Tsukuyomi(though Kurama can disrupt Naruto's chakra flow and release him, so idk how Sasuke can work around this) and using him to undo the tree and just as he's to do/kill someobody Naruto regains control and defeats Sasuke and kill him.
Or seriously cripples him. Then Orochimaru spends the next few years to bring Sasuke back or sth like that. Sasuke will be in the movie but will also be defeated by Naruto. Which sucks cause I agree with sasuke - if a government is corrupt and has caused nothing but death ---> you remove the government and the people responsible for this (the Kage and feudal lords) and you destroy the weapons used for mass murder (the tailed beasts)
So why is Sasukes choice so bad???
Yeah you might say they learned their lessons and are going to change things now BUT people never change. Would you make Osama bin Laden president of the US? would you spare Hitler and give him power? would you keep Stalin??
You won't say "They learned their lesson and are now totally good guys, I promise" ?
NO!!! When you have a tumour you get it removed. The Kages and the shinobi system are the tumour that have caused all the wars till now.
