1.Lets nip this in the bud HE WILL NOT STAY AS HOKAGE OR IN THE VILLAGE
Okay now remember this Itachi stating "The One Who Is Acknowledged By Everyone" Becomes Hokage
Q:Now what's a perfect way to be acknowledged quickly by the entire shinobi world and be forgiven for most your crimes ?
A:Having the only eye that can counter the very jutsu that has the entire shinobi world locked in a genjutsu.
Every one will have to respect and admire how he saved the world. Even though Naruto is helping, he's more of the power house ,Sasuke is the only one who can unlock the jutsu other than the caster himself.(AND WE KNOW THE CASTER ISN'T GOING TO). Madara wasn't trusted by anyone, but with time he could be loved , when the townspeople come to see he is their guardian. Kishi showed us this for a reason.. The story of naruto repeats itself, the whole hashi/naruto, madara/sasuke thing. And in order for Naruto to completely surpass Hashirama he has to convince sasuke to be hokage (Even if it's for a little while) unlike hashi and madz.
We all know the curse of the uchiha is the hatred born from strong love towards something. And what better thing would kishi entrust sasuke's unstable uchiha emotions to ? Konoha !
Even though he's protecting the village, it's only for his own will. He's saving what his beloved brother tried so hard to save from the fate of madara.
His TRUE goal is to simply demonstrate what a true kage is.What lead me to believe this is Sasuke's dying words:
"To make a true village" is what he said. Plus kishi stated in an interview that he wanted sasuke to become hokage from the beginning. But this is also a way of him hinting that not only for konoha, by Sasuke saying "Kage" instead of hokage. I think it's a reason other villages don't call there leader kage instead of hokage like konoha.
I've come to theses to conclusions why he wouldn't stay, allowing the throne to be passed to naruto.
1. Konoha already has to many flaws within it's system which only " Naruto's way of Peace" can solve. Mainly concerning the major problem of dealing with the DARKNESS OF THE VILLAGE that Danzo had to deal with. Sasuke would completely take advantage of that, creating Naruto v. Sasuke 2.(Because Naruto is the only one who can match him after madz is done).
2. The people of konoha won't except his will or forceful nature of getting things done. Even though he's proven to be a successful leader, there's still to many things he's done to the people of the village. I think they would show discomfort towards him and he wouldn't except that. He also would definitely be disrespectful towards them. He still hate's them for making itachi suffer.
Remember he Stated "I won't let the VILLAGE or my BROTHER be wasted", the VILLAGERS are not included in that. He can easily replace them with other people
Those where just my opinions on what could happen. But he will be hokage. Tell me what you think people.
