Kiba is awesome but a loser who can barely handle his own life haha. He's the unemployed friend you take to a bar, Shikamaru is the type who makes picnics and packed lunches.

It's a shame that the only real sweet moment Kiba shared with Naruto was during a filler. Kiba's Determination was adorable and showed Kiba/Naruto's relationship as kids perfectly. Jealousy turning into annoyance due to Naruto becoming the alpha male in the pack.

I'd actually say Naruto wouldn't have made it this far without Shika either. Naruto is powerful because of Sasuke but well-developed and a balanced adult in power because of Shika. Boy got lucky, that's for sure.

Thank God you got my message, I was preparing an explanation about how Kiba and Co acknowledged Naruto in their own way, from the very beginning (tho Kiba thought he was superior to Naruto, but at least he acknowledged Naruto's being and whatnot). Also, I liked that filler

Sasuke inspired naruto to train hard and learn to fight. Naruto's life goal has been to bring sasuke back cos shikamaru and the rest weren't just enough lol. That's why after sasuke came back naruto spent the rest of his life doing paper work. Cos there's nothing left for him to do

Shikamaru's one of my fave characters, not only he's smart but also has high EQ. He's a good brother to Naruto but, Choji's is his best friend more.. and Naruto and Sasuke are the one who's bffs haha! Because you know.. they both are orphan, they can relate to each other more. Anyway, thanks to Shika, while Sasu is away, he supported him all the way until he's Hokage. I like him, together with Temari.

Also, I think he's been doing a lot of work as advisor than Naruto XD but he manages his time with his family and his kid is not brat

Yeah, Shikamaru was very underappreciated. I feel like a lot of Naruto's closest friends became underappreciated when Sasuke got into the picture. Shikamaru, Sai, Kiba. I know the story revolves around Naruto and Sasuke but sometimes Kishi made it seem like Sasuke was the center of attention. Same thing for Sakura, it made it seem like Sasuke was everything to her and that she had nothing else to live for.

I'm pretty damn ****ing sure shikamaru isn't capable of generating a following to the likes of Sasuke which was not only enough of but the sole reason kishi's manga was successful.

Not to mention m'Lord Crow could only be of familial relation to Sasuke as His Soloness causes too much hate to simply not commit suicide over the acceptance of such a scale of inherent incompetence.. if not a Uchiha lol
