Naruto had to work hard because he wasn't born like a genious prodigy,and had no natural talent to begin with. Unlike Sasuke.

Naruto's clan was also killed, as were his parents. The only person/ thing that was constant in his life was Kurama the same exact entity that caused the villages to treat him like vermin. But thankfully Naruto was strong enough to overcome his adversities to become the person he is today. He trained for everything, shadow clones, rasengan (and variants), SM and his tailed beast powers.

Sasuke also had a tough life but seriously his powers were handed to him. CS was received from Orochimaru's bite and then enhanced by popping some pills. MS just appeared after a conversation with Tobi/Obito. And EMS required sasuke to lay down on a table and let Obito perform an eye transplant. None of his major powerups had fatal risks associated with them unlike SM and Tailed beast modes.

1) Naruto never had a family too start with. In fact he never knew the name of his parents until peins invasion of konoha.
2) he was always treated like a outsider by every one no one really liked him.
3) he had no one to teach him anything. Until jiraiya showed up.
4) Naruto worked his ass off for those sage mode and rasen shuriken technique.
5) Yes he has the strongest tail beast in him its true. But that kurama was a mass off hatred until recently.

Regarding sasukes powerup we know it all. I am not a sasuke hater, i really like him, but we all have to face the reality. So never jump to conclusions saying this and that.

Orochimaru forced Sasuke to have curse mark, but then he chose to have it improved. It also doesn't require training unlike what you said. It also should be noted that he just couldn't bring himself to kill Naruto, not because he was too weak like you said.

Look at the emotion on Sasuke's face and lack of speech. He did not spare Naruto on something as simple as a whim, he just couldn't bring himself to kill the friend who spared his life when he could have hurt him as much as Sasuke hurt Naruto. Sasuke was just talking crap in shippuden. He was trying to convince himself that he wasn't "soft."



Both Sasuke and Naruto have suffered greatly, but the difference between them is this.....

Sasuke was popular, he had friends that he could trust, talk to, and ease his pain over time like Kakshi said. Sasuke had an option to feel better, he just wanted to be miserable and angry. Naruto had nothing. He didn't have any friends until he was 12 years old.
