If you guys were trying to be funny, yeah sure, it was really noble of you for making fun of a family situation.

In my hometown, during old times, many women had to give birth at improper place just because they followed their husbands along. During such moment, their husbands rarely went home since men must travel far to find food resources and keep safety of the village/area where their families lived. Because first born child was very precious, the mother-to-be willingly went on travelling together, being by her husband's side to let him meet the said child, who knows what would happen to him in near future given how the men worked on their lives.

Aren't we agreed that no bashing on character for... trivial stuff? Yet some fanbases asking to stop hating Naruto or Sasuke or Hinata or Sakura, yada yada yada... Still this kinda thread existed.

I feel insulted on behalf of my mom, the way you guys went about was like it was dead wrong for a wife wanting to be with her husband hand-to-hand. Sakura is fine as hell, recede your hate.

Not to offend. But your story doesn't correlate to Sakura's situation. Sakura at any time could have returned to konoha instead of chasing someone on a pilgrimage or mission to protect the world form future threats.

Its ridiculous, no matter how much you love someone to chase after them when they're doing something like that. Sakura isn't bound to Sasuke to the point that she needs to be around him consistently.

They love each other enough to have trust obviously. She's waited for him all her life so why can't she wait a few more years? During a time where the world may rest on his shoulders?

The answer is simple: She couldn't she wanted the D love.

No you missed his point, and he is right.

It's not about whether Sakura can come back to the village or not, it's about her wanting her husband to witness his child's birth.

Read the bold.

Well, it can't be helped since their real situation wasn't explained/described in Gaiden, so should've expected more of these reactions. Sakura chasing after Sasuke had been a norm by now, don't ya think? Besides, I didn't expect Sasuke to invite Sakura to join him on a mission by travelling randomly, with risks and all. And where had it been stated that Sakura was with him consistently anyhow. Given how much time and hardships it took for them to have Sasuke back, someone like Sakura ofc would want to travel together, that till she gave birth to Sarada later on and went back to the village. At least she knew her priority as a mother.

This.

People think Sakura left the village for 10+ months? Doubtful.

Sasuke came back to inform the Kage about his discoveries, he likely stayed in the village for a time, and that is when Sakura got pregnant. When Sasuke had to leave again and Sakura knew she would be giving birth soon, she followed him so he could witness it.

Actually, the Kage meeting took place long after Sarada was born since Naruto was Hokage.

But how do you explain Sarada never meeting Sasuke? Even toddler Sarada, pre glasses, has no memory of him.

The Post series timeline is just screwed.

Naruto didn't see Sakura pregnant at all so it's more likely that Sakura got pregnant while she was travelling with Sasuke. The VIZ said that Sakura and Sasuke traveled together and then Sarada just happened to be born at the hideout...When they returned and when Sasuke told Naruto all the stuff about Kaguya depends on when Naruto became Hokage. The timeline is just really unclear.

Naruto became Hokage long after Sarada was born based on his conversation with Bolt in 700 and the ending of The Last.

But how do you explain Sarada never meeting Sasuke? Even toddler Sarada, pre glasses, has no memory of him.

The Post series timeline is just screwed.

Sasuke was most likely on his road to redemption traveling crap. Also, keep in mind that Sasuke sends letters to Naruto but not his family.

Sasuke doesn't give a damn about customs or cultural practices, he's a polygamist and manga fans should accept this

Why? What if she was pregnant and wanted Sasuke too see the birth of his first child.

That's not something you wanna miss.

God forbid Sasuke goes home to her for the birth of his child. Everything is always about Sasuke with this chick. SMDH.

Naruto Chapter 224.

LMFAO!!!!

I mean the word chased. Why does a pregnant woman need to chase the husband when the husband should be the one getting informed and coming home?

And even if she wasn't pregnant why didn't Sasuke try to contact her in anyway?

I mean near half of the gaiden they shat on it and kept the Karin troll right till the end and Put in some SS moments to balance it out and in the end it results in nothing

Took the words right out of my mouth.

This dude is on a mission to either find himself and absolve the bad things he's done or search for Kaguya's enemy.

Sakura literally went on a Quest a Journey to find Sasuke and the D.

I bet when she ran into him he was like: "Let me give this girl the D so I can go about my business"

Stayed around him the whole time until she gave birth.

LMAO!!! Then when he realized he fcked up when she wouldn't get the hell on. SMDH

Sorry, but this doesn't fly. Sakura wasn't a WIFE following her husband in a time of limited resources and instability.

She was a thirst bucket who decided to impose herself on a dude who had been dissing and ignoring her for as long as they'd known each other in a desperate attempt to break him down and finally get him. I guess in Kishi's mind she's a go-getter. In ppl with standard's minds, she looks pathetic. Sasuke is the one who ****ed up all those years. Why tf is SHE the one chasing HIM? And you mofos condone this shit? SMDH.

I'm not missing the point, if you believe the circumstances are the same then you're completely wrong.

Many kids are born in improper places. the dfference is that she clearly put her self in that situation and their first born being precious doesn't correlate to the situation. S

top making Sakura out to be someone who was forced into a situation in where she HAD to go with sauske and HAD to give birth in a hideout.

Because she didn't. She could have stayed her ass home and actually be productive being the best medic in the world instead of chasing a guy trying to handle business.

Dude wouldn't have had to worry about witnessing Sarada's birth if she just waited for the man.

No, when I said about men travelling far to find resources and such, I did mention about them doing it for safety reason, protecting their homes from the outside, which more relevant to Sasuke tbh. Also, Sasuke had gone soft on her before marriage, ofc Sakura would be happy since all the chase before was paid off. It was a given if she wanted to be together a bit longer now that she had the chance to do so.

If you're talking about the abusive deeds Sasuke gave to Sakura before the final war and clearly you didn't like it hence hating the couple because of it, I also could understand that. In the end though, Sakura has always been a persistent woman, so when Karin said she refused to leave from Sasuke's side (or according to Viz; chased after Sasuke), I thought, "Oh well, that's Sakura for you." Why people hate Sakura yet didn't hate Sasuke in such situation still baffle me in a way.

You could've at least made an excuse to Sakura in this abusive situation, like her having stockholm syndrome.

You know she won't do that, waiting I mean, given her personality. Idk why Kishi didn't show her showing off her medical skills in Gaiden, which could've been surplus points for her (just like she was described in the novel, she had been said to be the best medical shinobi in the village and she looked way maturer than Gaiden version).

Forced her to do so? She really was in a situation where it would make her to go with Sasuke at the beginning. She probably wanted to show him the first child since it was unsure when Sasuke would get back home, or she still afraid of losing the guy again as he had to travel far from village when he finally accepted her. Why would this become irrelevant?
