Sasuke Was Piggybacked

Sasuke survived the Chunin Exams because Lord Orochimaru was gracious enough to lend him that curse mark, which amplified his below average strength.

Lord Naruto and Queen Sakura had to save him countless times during his useless childhood.

Lord Itachi went to great lengths to protect him and make sure he awakened his sharingan and eventually his mangekyo sharingan. He also gave Sasuke his valuable offensive tech the Ametaratsu.

Sasuke eventually had to steal Itachi's eyes after Tobi saved him from Danzo

Naruto molded him into the man he is today. Without him Sasuke would still be an emo. Sasuke wanted to be like his model which is what made him grow stronger.


Jugo, Karin, and Suigetsu saved him from getting rekt by Killer Bee whom he failed to capture.

During the Ninja War, he was off getting smacked by Kabuto, Madara, and Kaguya. He was about as useless as tenten, Naruto and Sakura did all the heavy lifting

1. Went through 3 years of harsh training under Orochimaru with the threat of his body being taken over

2. Had to face a Kage level opponent before fighting Itachi

3. Had to fight Itachi before awakening MS

4. Had to fight more Kage level opponents to gain experience with MS

5. Had to die in order to summon Hagoromo


And Sasuke is the reason Naruto got so strong, had he stayed in the village Naruto would never have been motivated to reach his full potential.

I agree with this^^

But @ the bolded part I agree that the reason Naruto got that strong is mostly due to Sasuke. The opposite can also be true to a certain extent, however even if Sasuke stayed in the village both would have reached more or less the same level due to their rivalry. As one got stronger so would the other, Naruto would still be just as motivated to reach Sasuke's level, as would Sasuke trying to stand above Naruto. Thats my opinion anyway
