Honestly it kind of sucks that Naruto always seem to be held back.

Sasuke:

People can call nerfs all they want, I do think it's not entirely fair for Naruto to progress so little, at least that's what it feels like. I understand that he's incredibly busy, but I'm pretty sure Sasuke didn't unlock his S/T when he was an Adult. He's been traveling since Chapter 699.

Either way Naruto held the strongest title in the Manga (outside of Kaguya/Hagoromo/Hamura of course). Then Sasuke and Naruto were stated to be equals in the Boruto Movie, and despite this we can't figure out how Sasuke would essentially counter or block (as in physically with his powers, not running away from it with his S/T), Naruto's strongest attack. Still, who cares.

I just hope Kishimoto learned from his mistakes in needing character to progress together. Let different characters shine for a change.

Actually the exact opposite of what happened:
1.Sharingan can take control of bijuu under genjutsu.
2.Curse mark was senju DNA so sasuke already taken another clans power, the same clan that could learn woodstyle and has the chains like karin and kushina has to control bijuu, so a clan that had two of the ways to conrtrol bijuu.
MS has even stronger genjutsu abilities for bijuu and he has the potential izanani or izanagi.
3. EMS now he can do all these abilities without going blind and was handed a hacked jutsu that wherever you look you can set an eternal fire (amaterasu) that only the 8 tails could avoid with a special kkg from his tailed beast(naruto could probably do this now that he has all bijuu chakra but notat this point in the story)
4. Rinnegan is THE DIRECT ADVANTAGE OF ALL BIJUU AND JINCHURIKI, with multiple hacked kkg jutsu such as chibaku,preta,pull/push ect. That potenially destroy bijuu/jinchuriki opponents if used wisely (which he didnt because he still could beat naruto).
Now tell me how narutos power ups dwarfs sasukes?

And I think that's it? Sasuke has more abilities taken away from him but you could argue that what Naruto lost was more significant.

Personally, Sasuke not even using Preta Path with his PS was a huge nerf along with the bs placed in the end which was being unable to absorb jutsu while using Preta simultaneously due to the Rinnegan being new. That didn't stop him from easily trapping the Bijuu with CT and actually making them the center of mass.

Sasuke's strongest is a neft itself. Sasuke was nerfed the entire manga by being given the shit end of the stick on every occasion.

Why do you think Sasuke was given crap upgrades? Susano'o is vitually an impenetrable defense. Amaterasu is a given. And then Rinnegan was added on. How the hell is that the shit end? Not to mention Sasuke's Uchiha prodigy nature never wanes.

You really dont know if Preta/Susano'o can be used together. Madara couldnt even do that its why Dust Release caught him. Its a time gap between paths.

And you dont think it BS for Naruto not to be able to absorb more Rikuodou Sennin Chakra and use TSB at last minute while Sasuke still had both his doujutsu till the end? He never used either of the Beasts Kkg which could have trapped Sasuke when they were both weak. Instead kishi nerfed them both by making Naruto exhausted of his Chakra/abilities and Sasukes Rinnegan new.
