So it would seem as though Sasuke nearly "sacrificed" Sakura in an attempt to get a hit on Madara.
I think this explains Naruto's reaction and sudden decision to rush in right when Sasuke was about to attack.
Judging by how Sasuke was holding his katana in preparation to attack, it appears as though Sakura would have been caught up in the attack as well. If Naruto hadn't jumped in, I believe that we would have wound up with a situation similar to when Sasuke used Karin to kill Danzo.
I doubt this would have killed her due to her regeneration and Naruto being there, but it still would have been horrible for her to have to go through something like that again.
Does this mark the second time Sasuke has almost killed her or was all of this simply due to the sudden appearance of multiple limbo shadows of Madara?
On another note, in chapter 675, Naruto's expression seemed to change rather dramatically after Kakashi and Sakura asked Sasuke what he planned to do now. I guess Naruto knows what Sasuke has in mind, or at least can sense some sort of ill will in him similar to how he could tell the zetsus apart from the rest of the shinobi alliance.
I'm sure I'm not the first to notice either of these things, but I haven't seen it mentioned yet and as I stated earlier, this could have all just been due to the sudden appearance of the multiple limbo shadows of Madara and (in relation to my mentioning of 675) a bit of misinterpretation. I apologize ahead of time if I'm just being a bit of a derp right now. I'm rather tired haha. ^_^;
