...the problem is that she didn't give specifics but Sasuke didn't feel like sharing the details with Sarada either. It's a responsibility they BOTH shared. They didn't want Sarada to know about the secret mission although Sasuke handled that poorly as seen in the OP.

Sarada's suspicions came from many things: no birth records in Konoha, no pictures, a father who had been gone for a long time, finding Karin's picture, no obvious sign that her parents ever needed glasses. So it wasn't all Sakura's fault. Saying Sasuke owed Sarada nothing is dead wrong. He owes her plenty as a father.

Her knowing that her dad's mission is to track down a ancient evil thats has the power to bring the world to its knees, is something no child should hear.

ot: Sasuke lacks a certain emotion regulator because of his past. He is by far one of the most up front and frank characters in the whole manga. This causes him to come off as an a-hole. Sasuke really just didn't want to scare his daughter. There were nicer ways to put it but like I said sasuke is a very frank character.

Lord Sasuke has no chill when feelings are involved.

Well he is to be shown as Naruto's opposite...or at least thats what manga led readers to believe. So while naruto is like putting his friends and village before him Sasuke is the just opposite...and as far as feelings are concerned I guess his twisted childhood destroyed them all except for a few shreds which led him to come to good side evntually. More importantly as far as Sarada is concerned remember how Sasuke's father was to him...it was Itachi who cared more not his father so Sasuke gets his fatherly attitude from his father and not Itachi..On the whole his character has always been depicted as selfish, arrogant and disrespectful so nothing new about it.
