[Theory] Sasuke wants to die

I think Sasuke's actions post-Itachi's death were all fairly self destructive. Attacking Konoha alone. Taking on the go-Kage. Even fighting in the war. I think Sasuke doesn't really see any value in his life anymore, and truly believes he is alone. He doesn't want to be friends with Naruto, and he sort of wants to die.

I think it'd be somewhat fitting if Sasuke doesn't die, but instead has to live and actually be the one changing the world. It'd be a decent ending if Sasuke defeats Nardo, and decides to not kill him and just seals Kurama and the other TB, Ashura chakra, etc for good.

I've thought the same thing, I bet he's still sad about the Uchihas. Rightfully so, though. Poor Sasuke, Naruto will be there for him, and I think Sasuke will eventually return to Konoha by his own choice.

I totally agree that Sasuke wants to die. I think that is pretty obvious. As a Sasuke fan I would love for him to win, but it isn't very likely. I agree with most of what you said. But if Ashura is sealed then Indra most definitely needs to be sealed. If Sasuke were to defeat Naruto it has to come with a compromise. If there is no compromise the cycle will repeat. Sasuke MUST change his vision, or his existence will not be tolerated by the shinobi world. Other than that, great observation. And for the record, I don't think you are making an excuse for when/if Sasuke loses. You are just a fan that would like to see a character you like win, same as any other, including Naruto fans. ^_^

Sasuke knows it takes a common enemy for groups that hate each other so much to create piece, so he'll do just that, become one.

I doubt he returns to Konoha, and I doubt he'd be welcome. The Uchiha will sadly go down in history for starting this war, since everyone will see it was Obito and Madara that started the war... and Sasuke would be unfairly held in contempt for it. For the cycle of hatred to end, Naruto sort of has to lose and Sasuke has to win and become Hokage. My 2 cents.

Might be a fairly good point, but I think he's emotionally unstable about this. I just can't ever see Sasuke becoming a Naruto band-wagoner and going back to Konoha. It just wouldn't be in his character at all.
