from trapping the immortal guy, i am not sure but i think he didn't use his shadow's i think he set traps all around the field after tricking the enemy to go on his turf remember? so all he has to do is out smart sasuke which he can his IQ is on another level, it doesn't take power to win it takes brains. ofc sasuke thinks in combat but what sasuke thinks shik is on the 9th turn ahead of him
