Saying he can destroy the core of Chibaku Tensei without the firepower of those attacks is pure speculation. And regardless, he'd have to find out the weakness of it, which took Itachi and Naruto to figure out.

Everyone assumes Sasuke(which makes sense) but what about the Almighty push > Amaterasu? I mean, I completly understand that this wouldn't help the other paths (Or maybe it could...?) but even then, Sasuke wouldn't be able to defeat Deva Pain to easily. I'd give it to Sasuke though, high-diff (Though in my opinion, it could go either way...)

Sasuke may win if pain was in the same condition as when he fought naruto firstly. i.e no deva path abilities and not trying to kill him. If it is to the death deva, preta path and human path end it. Pain wins mid-diff.

Mid difficulty against Pain? I doubt it seriously. I think Madara would have mid difficulty against pain.

Pretty much this, most of people are underrating NAGATO so much, he's rinnegan user and has sick chakras atleast.. + this time pain is going for kill, which is goodbye to sasuke.. plot wont save him like it saved narutos a$$ few times..
