Sasuke beats Pain, but Nagato is a different story.

Sasuke beats Pein Mid difference most. Deva is taken out if he tries CT and once that is done, the core should disappear. In order to do that, all his other paths would be turned off anyway, hence, it would be a highly stupid move on Nagato's part to make Deva use CT before an Uchiha with Amaterasu and Susano'o.

Almighty push is countered with a single arrow. Here, the paths recovery would be drastically slowed down as well. A single arrow would kill Deva if he tries it. Petra most probably cannot absorb Amaterasu as this is the second time in the manga two users who are fully aware of Amaterasu and Rinnegan abilities have used Shinra Tensai. Also, it wouldn't make much difference regardless, as Amaterasu would appear ON Petra path. He would be turned to ash before he can absorb anything at all. Nagato also died and was reduced to mere bones and last tendrils of flesh. We all know what would have happened if he was alive.

Magatama takes care of Animal path and his summons. Human path is killed with an arrow or Magatama. Sasuke can easily take out Asura with Chidori and Petra - just for argument's sake - with his kenjutsu.
