Yes. Obito has shown to be quite adept in genjutsu, far superior than Sasuke.

I see. Well, I'll just wait for more opinions because currently, I am leaning towards Obito as well. I saw this being debated before, but I never took my time to read the arguments.​

Ah I see what you mean lol Well Obito despite his young age mastered his sharingan to the point he can control Kurama.. not to mention he also possess MS which can also help in breaking it no? I kinda have a foggy memory lol

Getting close to Sasuke will be very difficult for Obito because of Enton , and Sasuke could deduce the fact that Obito has to solidify to absorb people .

It all depends on Obito's mastery of Mokuton really , but I think Sasuke definitely takes the first scenario .

It's not that great. Danzō broke Sasuke's Genjutsu pretty easily, and Obito is an Uchiha + he should know about Sharingan Genjutsu/Tsukuyomi. I can't see him succumbing to that.
Meanwhile, Kamui counters everything else Sasuke has.

Yes. Forget what I said. If you have a Sharingan and a Kekkei Genkai, you can break out of the Tsukuyomi or well, if you have the same blood as the caster.

Danzo had both the Sharingan and a Kekkei Genkai which happens to be the Mokuton. Obito has the same. However, I wouldn't say that Sasuke is unable to beat the Obito in scenario one. Actually, I might even make a case for Sasuke.​

Sasuke don't have a counter for Kamui where as Obito has counter for everything Sasuke can offer.
Obito that fought Minato controlled Kyuubi it is something even Itachi acknowledged as a great feat so i doubt Genjutsu would work on Obito on top of that Obito is better than Sasuke when it comes to Genjutsu.
without plot shield no one but Minato can counter Kamui.

Obito takes this in both the cases.

You mean Sasuke's fodder tsukuyomi? The one that Danzo easely figured out?

First of all let me tell ya, Obito's genjutsu feats are >> Sasuke's... Controlling the Kiuuby, Controlling Yagura...

Any Obito > Any sasuke

scenario 2 - amaterasu has the speed to target obito before he can phase right through with kamui as shown when he was hit by the trap amaterasu Itachi planted in sasuke's eye. this tells me that Obito has really no way of sensing amaterasu so all sasuke needs to do is a surprise amaterasu and a quick kusanagi decapitation blitz/ sharp spear decap after obito returns from the kamui dimension.

Since there isn't any restrictions obito sumons kurama then teleport behind sasuke and kamuis him. scenario 2 is closer but i can see obito winning with his inzanagi + kamui combo.
