Your still not getting it. That mist isn't purely chakra. Its an actual MIST created from chakra that can be seen with the eye, that's why the Sharingan couldn't see through. The mist the Mizukage made is just CHAKRA which the Sharingan can see through.

The clam mist/fog affects the opponent indefinitely! Know matter how many times you try to break out or "see" through it, it will never ever go away and you will see mirages untill the clam is dealt with!

logically speaking the sharingan can see the color of chakra. where the chakra was circulating fastest would indicate to sasuke where the clam was, sasuke wouldn't have to see through it, and the mist is different, once its out its out, zabuza doesn't have to keep making more, if he did that would give him away as well.

Zabuza keeps the Jutsu in effect, he goes the jutsu goes! Same as the Clam!

it is different in zabuza's case, he creates the mist and then it stays, without him having to keep maintaining it. that is his advantage against the sharingan. The sharingan would see the color of the chakra the clam was producing, and because it continuously produces this chakra this would be its tell. do you get it now? sasuke wouldn't actually see the clam just the difference in the amount of that chakra color being produced.
