[VS] Sasuke vs Nagato

Sasuke has EMS. For the purpose of this thread being more balanced he has the Shukaku under his control via Genjutsu. You can assume that this Genjutsu isn't very chakra taxing (again, for balance). You may also assume that the Shukaku can use any Sand based Jutsu that Gaara has.

Nagato is healthy.

Full intel. Sasuke even has full intel on the Shukaku and its abilities.

35 Meters. Sasuke is standing on top of the Shukaku while Nagato is standing on the ground.

Can absorb any jutsu sasuke throws at him (ammy he can blow away)

Nagato wins. Madara showed us that the Preta Path can still take away the chakra holding the sand, so Nagato has that natural defence. Further Sasuke still faces the absorption problem where all his Ninjutsu could be absorbed; Kirin is an exception but it is negated by Shinra Tensei.

There's also the problem with the chameleon: when it is invisible the Sharingan can't see it. Itachi was looking at its direction and didn't notice it. The same will happen to Sasuke. So should Nagato get at a decent angle, he could end it with a powerful Shinra Tensei.

Then there's things like Gedo Mazo and Chibaku Tensei to consider. Though Kurama showed that Bijuus can be pushed back with a strong enough force; Nagato should be able to separate Sasuke and the Shukaku this way.


Nagato takes it with mid difficulty at most because Sasuke has a tricky style of fighting. Mainly due to Kagusuchi and his Susanoo arrows in conjunction to all his Chidori variants and what not.
