In all seriousness, it's already been highly debated that the Rinnegan is the "upgrade" to EMS so given that both are proficient with their Doujutsu's, the Rinnegan user will always beat the EMS user, thus Nagato wins.

Also hasnt this one already been done to death before?

The former is true however the latter is baseless based on the former. In lamens terms you've answered your own question by saying that Rinnegan > EMS. It really doesn't matter what the EMS of Sasuke can do if the Rinnegan user is as proficient in its use as Sasuke is in EMS.

not always the case...
for example:
fight between pikachu and raichu was won by pika even though raichu is the upgrade of pika... (pokemon)

leave pokemon consider naruto only :
sasuke 3 tomoe sharingan beat mangekyou itachi (though it was an extra ordinary special case where itachi let him win buy it happened just to prove your theory is not always true)

bottom line:
nagato will win anyways but not always the upgraded version will win
