Sasuke was teamed with the legend himself Itachi vs only 1 shinobi, Kabuto, and hardly contributed anything to his defeat.

Sasuke defeating Madara is as likely as Mitt Romney ending the federal reserve.

I am expecting the same thing for few reasons:
1:- Naruto and Sasuke , both are going to be history makers (kishi intentions)
2:- For this they have to beat the one who already made a history. That is why Madara was revived. (maybe for Sasuke)
3:- And Naruto is suppose to be the one never seen before. He needs some one bigger than Madara, which seems to me the son of SO6P (could be tobi, but he needs to be fully revived or will revive the son).
4:- The point mentioned in 3 might be exaggerated, the other option could be Naruto & Sasuke vs Madara. That is, friendship vs hatred. That is the whole theme of the manga.

Before that Sasuke and Naruto both need upgrades, and they are at the course of getting it.

That is how kishi been going so far, I think.

The theory related to the son of SO6P might be true because:
The SO6P said to the beasts about wrong decision making. He might be pointing to the decision related to passing the power to sons. He was expecting his angry son to be destructive in future, and he then sealed himself in Kurama for fixing the problem later.

Madara probly will be beaten by sasuke later on but not as soon as you think. I don't think sasuke even knows Madara has been revived nor Madara knows about sasuke. I agree sasuke will get the Rin at some point and he will have itachis weapons which in the end will be the only reason that he will win since it seems madaras chakra pool was larger than sasukes before he became the ultimate based god.

I'd honestly be more happy if Madara lived out the rest of his time rampaging through the shinobi world Killing everyone especially naruto but hey I love chaos and destruction but kishi loves goody two shoes and peace *kanye shrugg*

I can see this happening although I don't believe Sasuke's reason would be just to test his power and be the strongest Uchiha. Sasuke would go against Madara because he is behind everything with Itachi. Not only that he is going to obey Itachi's wishes and redeem the Uchiha's name. While Madara/Tobi want to taint the Uchiha's already tainted name, Sasuke may just be the one to try and turn it around. Also, people seem to forget we have yet to see what powers Sasuke's new eyes have. I do not doubt Sasuke can be a challenge for Madara.

The Kages and the Alliance in chapter 650 were going for the tree not Madara and Sasuke is with Naruto against Obito leaving Madara against the First Hokage, the Tree takes priority over Madara to the Kages so that the Genjutsu can't be cast. If your going to make predictions base it on whats in the Manga right now. If the tree is not stop their will never be a fight at all.

You guys might not realized it , but ems full power was already on display via his ms. What was left were perfect susano, yes itachi's yata nd sealing gourd to come and better yakasa magatama, amaterasus, tsukuyomi. A new technic which we have yet to see but I won't spil it....
