Sasuke vs Madara? His role in this war.

Been saying this a while, and this chapter just makes it more likely. I personally think that Sasuke's big 'fight' during this war will be against Madara. Now that we know Sage Jutsu is a weakness to Obito, Hashirama will inevitably join the fray and fight Obito alongside Naruto.

This does mean Sasuke will get a big power up, and will fight Madara. There's no way Kishimoto will make Hashirama beat Madara twice. I think this is how it should of always been in my honest opinon - if anyone should erase the root of hatred and cleanse the Uchiha clan it should be an Uchiha not an Uzumaki and not a Senju.

While Naruto, the Hokages and the alliance will be fighting Obito, I can imagine Madara and Sasuke off on another battlefield having a more "lower scale" but far more personal and epic battle.

I completely agree. Naruto needs to fight Obito since he is Dark Naruto, while Sasuke needs to fight Madara aka Darker Sasuke. Madara is the root of all the problems the Uchiha faced. It needs to be an Uchiha to finish him off. Itachi always intended Sasuke to reform the clan, while he made sure the truth of the coup never came out. Sasuke needs to start to do this be dealing with Madara.
Yes, Sasuke will need a major power-up for this to happen. It will also take a quite a few chapters for this to occur, since Madara first needs to defeat Hashirama and then Sasuke needs a power-up.
