This always ends up in a debate whether Kisame and Samehada can absorb Amaterasu or not.

If they can, then Kisame wins mid-difficulty.

If they can't, and the battle is blood lusted, it depends on whether Kisame can dispel his lake or WD (which takes a single clap of his hands) before Sasuke activates his MS and uses Amaterasu.

Best strategy for sasuke is to summon a hawk and keep distance from samehada which could give some troubles, the rest is cake for him.

I'm aware of Samehadas disliking for the taste of fire elements. This doesn't mean he's incapable of absorbing Amaterasu, however. As all he did was groan about absorbing the fire ball, I don't understand why this makes people think he can't eat something hotter.

Susano'o arrow is pure chakra, why wouldn't samehada be able to absorb it? It took out Bee's V2 despite Kisame and Samehada not being able to react to him. Whether it can or not, is insignificant as Kisame has a better way of dealing with Susano'o arrow and the Susano'o itself, and that is Great Shark Bomb.

I agree and the Amaterasu thing saying that its 'as hot as the sun' is another hyperbole made in the databook so i won't mention that as a factor in this discussion.

Clapping his hands and Sasuke activating the MS may take the same amount of time.But by the time Kisame opens his mouth, he'll already be covered in flames.Amaterasu is instant and i think that you know this as well so i won't waste my time explaining things that you already know.

it had no problem taking taking Bee's chakra because it was tasty. I never understood the mentality of it barely absorbed fireball jutsu therefore it can absorb amaterasu. That's like me saying because humans can survive a few volts of electricity, therefore we can absorb any amount of electricity without dying.

-Fine, let me put this another way. Difficulty implies limits, it wouldn't have made a big deal about absorbing fire if it was something it can easily do. I'll use an in-universe example then, That'd be like me saying: Kabuto barely survived a rasengan, therefore he can survive rasenshuriken.

Ama was sealed before and it has chakra and cannot exist without chakra. Ama will be absorbed Samehad had no problem eating the fireball just disliked the taste.Kisame can absorb chakra himself or force samehada and GSB beats everything Sasuke has.
