Amaterasu is the highest level Fire Release technique,and according to Zetsu, the strongest ninjutsu of Itachi's eyes.It is said to represent the "Material World and Light" (物質界と光, Busshitsukai to Hikari), the antipode to Tsukuyomi, a genjutsu of similar power and a fellow Mangekyō Sharingan dōjutsu.

The jet-black flames of the Amaterasu, said to be "the fires from hell" that are as hot as the sun, ignite at the focus of the user's vision.Though the flames have been stated to be unavoidable, Amaterasu has been avoided a few times; Sasuke Uchiha managed to dodge the flames when Itachi tried focusing on him, though Itachi did not actually want to kill him and managed to hit Sasuke shortly after regardless, and A using his Lightning Release Armour enhanced Body Flicker Technique avoided a short-range Amaterasu launched at him by Sasuke in an instant.

The flames are capable of burning through mostly anything in their path, even smothering regular fire techniques with ease. Amaterasu is said to never stop burning; even when whatever is caught by the Amaterasu is completely reduced to ash or destroyed, it can still continue burning for seven days and seven nights. It cannot be extinguished with water or any other normal methods. The only thing that the flames have failed to burn into or through is Gaara's chakra-infused sand.However, the flames burn fairly slowly, sometimes allowing anyone struck by Amaterasu an opportunity to remove whatever clothing or body parts have been caught ablaze. Nagato was able to deflect the flames from his body using Shinra Tensei. Use of the technique also puts a great deal of strain on the user, usually causing their eyes to bleed.

Itachi Uchiha, who used it with his right Mangekyō Sharingan, is able to quell the flames to some extent. Prior to his death, Itachi implanted some of the black flames into Sasuke's eye which activates upon seeing Tobi's Sharingan. Sasuke, after gaining his own Mangekyō Sharingan, is later able to use Amaterasu on his own. Sasuke's Amaterasu originates from his left eye however, and C indicates he is more skilled with it than Itachi; he can put out the flames with greater ease and can even manipulate the flames themselves as part of the "Blaze" element.

As you can see it is fighting with normal fire. What makes you think it can fight the Juubi. Also the Hachibi is 1/4 of the size of the Juubis eye when it is 70% complete. So, what makes you think it can burn the Juubi when his eye is 4 times bigger than Hachibi

Because its not the size that matters, bigger size only means more time to burn. We are discussing actual capability to burn juubi.
Id say 7 days is more then enough

Original full power Juubi > Amaterasu, why ?, it has sharingan and rinnengan pattern in eye, so it could probably counter with it's own Amaterasu or absorb it with Preta Path or extinguish Amaterasu as Sasuke did in fight against Killer Bee.

Don't forget that it is source of chakra, so maybe it could even absorb, nuliffy chakra needed for Amaterasu to burn.

Current Juubi last form(form which has yet to reach) - uknown

Current Juubi curret form(second form) - Amaterasu would probably harm it, but not kill. Juubi would regenerate at faster rate than Amaterasu burn, or Juubi use chakra roar on Amaterasu. Besides We don't know if Amaterasu work on Nature chakra from which Juubi is made of.

Please give me link to scan, which shows Amaterasu killing tailed beast or affecting nature chakra.

Current Juubi initial form(first form) - Amateratsu could burn it eventually but only if it would be user of EMS and he would have to focus his eyesight at Juubi, so Amaterasu burn rate has to be faster than Juubi regeneration.

Honestly nothing we've seen can hurt the Juubi. Even the Sage opted for Sealing.
Its weakest form tanked Naruto and Killer Bee's combined bijudama, which is the strongest attack so far in the Manga (topped only by the Juubi's own Bijudama)

in its second form it tanked something that destroys countries.

juubi absorbs amaterasu with preta path since it has the rinnegan. Or it just flat out tanks it for 7 days considering it didn't even eat through samurai armor, or it chakra roars it off.

Amaterasu hasnt failed to burn a thing yet.
It burns chakra and it burns nature elements that contains nature energy.

Nobody hypes it, its proven capabilities. Some on the other hand hype juubi too much yet its already been defeated. Now any constructive counter evidence aside mere opinion?
