What fight? I think you confused Jiraya and Orochimaru. Orochimaru was easily beaten by Itachi yes, and then he QQd and quit Akatsuki.

THe fight he's talking abt is actually the one when jiraiya took naruto for training.At that time kisame and itachi came to take naruto while jiraiya stopped them in his stomach or something..but itachi and kisame held back using amaterasu.Sasuke was there too....I think it was 147 manga chapter... but itachi didn't beat anyone...

well thats true...in a chapter long ago, yamato used his earth rampart to devide earth that was burning with amaterasu, and just went through.....

sasuke and jiraiya meet face to face and sasuke attempts to cast genjutsu but fails due to jiraiya's high level of sage chakra,(now at this point in the paragraph, all the sasuke fans are pissed off. keep reading it gets better). in the meantime jiraiya summons gamatatsu for his water jutsu to counter all of sasuke's fire jutsu and conjures a scroll to counter and seal all lightning jutsu. leaving sasuke with only his speed and MS. while sasuke attempts his fire and lightning style jutsu's, he fails, in the meantime jiraiya uses his toad Silhouette jutsu to control sasuke's shadow and then control his whole body. he then walks into gamatatsu's stomach and releases sasuke. sasuke is then trapped inside toad mouth trap where jiraiya roars out of the blackness with a rasengan into sasuke's chest. thus jiraiya wins.

In all seriousness you've gpt to be %$$#*ng kidding me if you think Sasuke can beat the Legendary Sennin Jiraiya.

First of all Jiraiya has way more experience than sasuke and Jiriaya would of been to much to handle for even Itachi so that's a mute point.

Pein even said that IF JIRAIYA KNEW OF HIS SIX PATHS PRIOR TO THE BATTLE HE WOULD OF MORE THAN LIKELY BEEN KILLED . Keep it real sage mode is not something you can copy with the Sharingan in the first place it's like havung a Kekkei Genkei.

To top it all off Jiriaya is well versed in various jutsu and what he lacks in Genjutsu, he makes up for by being able to counter his opponents Genjutsu in addition to being fluent in Fuuin Jutsu and Barrier Ninjutsu as demonstrated in Episode 131 of the Shippuuden series .
