Current sasuke still doesn't have seals, so he still can't really beat edo itachi even though he destroys him in an actual fight.

Edo Itachi is basically a normal Itachi with less chakra but more stamina, right? I think I heard somewhere that an Edo can't actually use their full chakra.

In any case a permanent yata mirror + an inability to be killed is what puts the match in itachi's favor.

You're off to a bad start. EMS Sasuke didn't really try to fight Kabuto. As soon as the fight started, Sasuke was gonna go in for the kill, but Itachi told Sasuke not to. Then Itachi told Sasuke to stay behind him, while he took the lead with Izanami. Sasuke just sat back and let his brother do his thing. He never went all out against Kabuto, though he wanted to.

You realize Izanami would of technically worked on an EMS Sasuke, right?

Izanami forces a person to accept themselves. Sasuke isn't running from himself. Izanami would have no effect on him.

If not Izanami, why not KA?

Because KA was never a viable option. Remember why he put it in Naruto? He never had the chance to use it prior. And after that point, he gave it the command "Protect Konoha" which is what Sasuke was doing. In a battle like this, that doesn't stop EMS Sasuke from smashing Itachi.

Hypothetically if both were to be at their prime, Itachi has KA, Izanami, Izanagi, Sakegari, Yata, Susanoo, Amaterasu, and Tsukuyomi, whereas Sasuke only really would have the less three, but at a much less grander scale. How wouldn't Itachi win?

2. Itachi never showed or said he had Izanagi
3. Sasuke is not immortal, so Totsuka's sealing property is nothing special
4. Yata Mirror is good
5. Itachi has the weakest Susano'O so far
6. Amaterasu can't hold a candle to Sasuke
7. Tsukuyomi was broken by 3-Tomoe Sasuke. MS Sasuke would break it, and EMS trolls

Now let's compare to Sasuke.

3. Totsuka cuts like a Katana, which Sasuke's own Susano'O weapons easily match
4. Sasuke's Susano'O Bow acts as a shield similar to Yata Mirror

7. Sasuke has genjutsu as well - and can match and break any of Itachi's genjutsu

Sasuke also has the stamina advantage. He can use Amaterasu without bleeding. He can use Enton without forming Susano'O. He can use genjutsu at ranges Itachi has never shown. He has summonings that put Itachi's crows to shame. He has Raiton and kenjutsu/shurikenjutsu that pressures Itachi and keeps him far range. He has fought alongside KM Naruto, BSM Naruto, and against Juubito. He has the same Choku-Tomoe eye prowess as Madara (who could easily see through clones).

EMS Sasuke overpowers, out-guns, and pressurizes Itachi. Soon as the fight starts, Sasuke goes for the pressure. Itachi's clones stand no chance, and get seen through. Itachi's katon gets obliterated by Sasuke's katon (EMS Sasuke has the combined power of MS Sasuke, MS Itachi, and Indra - anyone thinking Itachi's chakra strength matches this is straight up lying). Itachi's suiton falls to Enton, or becomes a conductor for raiton. Itachi's taijutsu falls to raiton, Enton, and shurikenjutsu/kenjutsu. Itachi's crow falls to Sasuke and his summonings.

Sasuke pressures Itachi, and Itachi's only line of defense to escape this pressure is Susano'O. He can try to use Amaterasu, but he clearly loses to Sasuke in that category. He can try to use Tsukuyomi, but Sasuke can easily break it. Susano'O is his only chance. But once that happens, he starts eating away at his own chakra. And frankly, his Susano'O is far weaker than Sasuke's. Not only is it weaker on every level, but it even has less levels. Itachi's Yasaka no Magatama get easily blocked or deflected (or countered by Sasuke's own - Sasuke who has used 13 at a time, compared to Itachi's 4). Sasuke's Susano'O sword gets countered by Susano'O Sword. Yata Mirror gets countered by Susano'O sword as well, or Enton Sword. Sasuke's Bow adds a shield much like Yata Mirror. Sasuke also has better long range game than Itachi's Susano'O. Sasuke can chill in his Susano'O for extended periods of time, but Itachi will get worn out quickly.

Again, Sasuke would of died multiple times in his fight against Kabuto, while Itachi proved to be superior to Kabuto.

Why do you think Kishi had to give him such a huge power up?

Because he was fighting Naruto (utilizing the power of the Kyubi), Madara (the strongest of the Uchiha), and Obito (Madara's protege). Itachi doesn't compare.

Plus if this is both of them at their prime, excluding current power ups, Itachi has KA.

This is the plight of everyone that argues for Itachi. But thanks to the circumstances the manga offered, he does no good either way. Itachi had Koto for 10 years before he could really use it. All that time, his health was degrading. There is no healthy Itachi with Koto. And once Koto was even able to be used, Itachi gave it clear instructions to "Protect Konoha". Sasuke fighting Itachi doesn't invalidate that, and that was already EMS Sasuke's goal. Koto = worthless.

A healthy Itachi would be able to maintain the Susano'o much longer.

How much longer do you think "much" longer is? Between the deteriorating eyes, the pain that Susano'O causes naturally, and the draining chakra? I'm curious.

Yata is a shield. Not sure why people try to overrate that. In fact, it is a shield that Itachi doesn't even use outside of the most advanced forms of his Susano'O. And most of the time, Yata Mirror doesn't even harness its reflective power (forreal, just look at when Oro's hydra hit it, or when Sasuke use his explosive tags on it). Yata Mirror blocked those, but didn't reflect them. I'm guessing Itachi has to actually activate the reflective power, which drains him even more. Not to mention Yata isn't some magical 360 degree shield.

But yeah, it is a shield. It blocks (probably better than any other shield) like a shield. Just like Yata can block Sasuke's attacks, Sasuke's shield (his bow) can block Itachi's attacks. The only difference is Itachi will be draining himself far more than Sasuke.

You can still move quite freely without having a legged Susano'o. The advantage is minor to useless. This is a healthy Itachi, meaning he can keep it up much longer. Also, since the Yata is an ethereal weapon, he can change its size on a whim. Not only that, but the Sakegari and Yata weren't meant to be in the Susano'o, meaning that Itachi could easily change the form and size of both and wield them as a normal person would.

Just stop. The kabuto battle is irrelevant in a battle btw itachi and sasuke. You knw itachi loses when his fans try to use a diffeerent battle to say itachi wins. OT Ems sasuke beats itachi with minimal effort
