Sasuke vs Gaara Chunin Exams

Seems like people like to say Sasuke lost this fight. But thats lets break this down

There was nothing gaara could do to touch sasuke. Gaara got beat in 3-5mins (naruto time) by Sasuke.
Sasuke made him, cry, scream, bleeding, and run away. Sasuke then had to chase the 3 sand ninja got stopped by Kankuro and shino came to aid sasuke. Sasuke then had to catch up to Temari and gaara where he had to fight her wasting time chakra and stamina dealing with her while gaara recovered health and chakra.

After Sasuke caught he he had to fight gaara and protect sakura all while no break, CM draining his chakra. When it comes to Sasuke he gets a ton of hate and people seem to forget what all the other shit he has to deal with before or during fights.

Sasuke beat gaara. Ill be back in a few months =D

I feel like Gaara would have gone into One-Tails and still won against Sasuke, regardless of the interruption.
Can't say I'm not impressed by the fight he put up though. I imagine it would be close, but I'm not sure Sasuke would have won with Gaara's blood lust.

Sasuke won the fight but lost the war basically since Gaara went Jin mode and sasuke CM crippled him.

Sasuke didn't had to protect Sakura it was opposite Sakura saved Sasuke.

And deal with Sasuke lost in the end in forest when he collapsed and others had to save his weak ass.

Really wonder why people think Gaara was recovering chakra when he literally didn't expend any. Also like Tauren says, he never had to protect Sakura plus NB would probably be gone by the time you look towards coming back.
