i did some research and found out that the elder son of the SO6P (uchiha ancestor) used a sword, next i checked the younger son (senju ancestor) and it said his weapon was a 'SHAKUJO' this tool alows the user to access some of the powers of the RENNIGAN and also the SWORD his elder brother represnted the lust for POWER and the SHAKUJO represents peace and love.

now we all know sasuke uses the sword
