No he didn't. He did a fuinjutsu for his(Itachi) Amaterasu to fire once Sasuke was exposed to Madara's Sharingan.
What I meant was that Sasuke awakened his own MS, Itachi never gave him(Sasuke)his MS!

OP doesn't make sense. Kirin doesn't need MS to operate!

Kirin is a lightning based Jutsu. It doesn't have anything to do with Fire.
