Sasuke knew something was up about Boruto due to the way that Naruto talked about him. Sure it would have made more sense for Sasuke to see it firsthand, but he wanted Boruto to reach a certain criteria (work hard to learn a certain technique). When Boruto accomplished that, Sasuke was probably thinking he was right about Boruto and the whole Ninja bet (the bet was about whether the fact that technology affected the 'will of shinobi. Naruto bet it did, Sasuke said it didn't).

When Boruto later used the device to accomplish his goals in front of Sasuke, Sasuke knew that Naruto was right for the time being.

The most logical answer is that Sasuke either didn't have the time to teach Boruto anything that day since he just came back from a 10+ year long mission and wanted to go home and rest, or he wanted to see Boruto's progress on his own without interfering.

OT: Lmao Minamoto, you serious. Sasuke has all 5 elements thanks to the Rinnegan he received from Hagoromo. With this Sasuke can even make a natural transformation of the Rasengan. Sasuke does lead by example, he mastred the Chidori when he was 13 and Katon when he was 8. Just because Sasuke hasn't demonstrated it doesn't mean he doesn't have it or is a bad sensei.

It shows control over chakra, as well as many other things. Also, I can say with complete confidence that Sasuke can use the Rasengan, just as Naruto can use Chidori (just not the same way as Kakashi uses it, since Naruto has no way of negating the supposed tunnel vision, which is a stupid concept that should not exist at all).

I was specifically talking about chidori. While sasuke and kakashi were limited with tunnel vision, Naruto could effortlessly use it with eyes closed thanks to sage mode.
