Pein Low diff... Sasuke relies heavily on ninjutsu which is ineffective against deva and preta path. Sasuke also has no answer to the dog summon.. I just dont see how sasuke can take this, like at all

EMS Sasuke with superior precog puts Pain in a Genjutsu he can't break out of. Also PS oneshots, and Amaterasu takes out 3 or more paths, Snake Summons take care of thier summons, and Chidori variants bisect the rest one by one through speed blitzes, and CQC face-offs that they are weak against. It' a stomp in Sasuke's favor. Gedo Mazo is probably oneshotted by PS too.

Even if you give Sasuke PS with Madara's mountain busting feats, Pain still beats mid difficulty. He's got no answer to city-busting Shinra Tensei and island busting Chibaku Tensei. Not only that, most of his Jutsu gets absorbed. There are power scales for matches like these.
