It shows how skilled he is. Sasuke is probably the most skilled character in the story.

He doesn't have the most chakra, but he is more skilled than any other, besides maybe the new threat.

Besides, Sasuke's more intelligent than Kaguya, and has far more experience fighting tough opponents than she does.

Think of it this way, if Sasuke had the exact same powers as Kaguya, and chakra level, he would be able to fight alot better than she did.

Same situation can be applied to any intelligent character. However I still don't see how his new found ability makes him more powerful. Logically, I expected him to have that ability and other Six paths abilities since he possess the Rinnegan. So in essence, it doesn't make him stronger, but increases his versatility.

He unlocked a whole new technique that's on Kaguya's level. He's clearly gotten stronger.

Since he has a brand new technique, surely he's mastered all the Rinnegans Paths aswell, and can use Amenotejikara alot better than before.

Obito was already shown to move through dimensions that doesn't make him on Kaguya's level. And nope, I don't think Sasuke is even close to her level. Kaguya could not only move through dimensions effortlessly, but she could create/Shift dimensions as well. Even Obito had his own dimension. Sasuke on the other hand doesn't. From the spoilers, he can only move through dimensions, at the expense of his chakra drastically reduced.

What i said about Sasuke most likely mastering all the Rinnegans Paths is common sense. We saw what he did from having it for about 2 hours, and it's been 12+ years.

It's a fact that he improved Amenotejikara - he used it twice in a few seconds in chapter 6,

1) To switch places with Shin
2)To teleport his sword back to himself

Both with no signs of exhaustion,

And apparently he did all this while losing alot of energy from travelling dimensions.

Orochimaru is a Sasuke fan, but he is also one of the most intelligent characters in the story. Don't reject what he says simply because you don't like it. Masashi was foreshadowing with Orochimaru.
