well people went crazed after he turned good because kishi promised us a big finale fight.

so the idea of the chuuni exams came around for their finale as they are both genin.

He'll be Hokage after Naruto not before..It would be pointless after 10 years of Kishimoto writing Naruto always saying "I'm going to be Hokage" " my dream is to be Hokage and be acknowledge by everyone" the whole story would be ruined if it turned out that after 3 years of Sasuke doing wrong and finally being enlightened by Itachi now he wants to be Hokage..

1. Took out Deidara.
2. "Killed" Itachi, the "villain"
3. Danzo was unpredictable and quite f*cked as a leader/person.
4. Released Edo Tensei
5. Revived the Hokage
6. Fighting to seal the Juubi and defeat Madara

And he's done lots of other positive things.

Be that as it may, He still killed a Kage of "his" village.

Who was willing to let half the village die, and Tsunade who was the actual Hokage at the time and not a "candidate".
Who also ordered a mass killing of an entire clan which included innocent children.
Forced people like Sai to kill their siblings.
That guy was terrible.
I'm sure if he explains what Danzo did, people will forgive him.

It was Itachi, Sasuke's intentions were never to release edo tensei, he just went along with itachi.

Well, Sasuke was part of the fight, and actively attacked Kabuto and defended Itachi which lead to their victory.

Well, Sasuke is the one who revived Oro, and he's the one who told him to revive the Hokage. And Oro was following Sasuke's lead completely. Sasuke is the one who lead them all to the battlefield.


Anyway, he still has blessing from the current Hokage...Hashirama considers him a candidate, so I don't think it matters much what other people think. Because Minato, Tobirama and Hiruzen will probably consider him a hero in the end.

I don't see why Sasuke being Hokage is so far fetched. Look at Gaara. Just two and a half years prior, he murdered his own people for the lulz. Now it's like he's justin beiber and the villagers are little girls. Besides, he never did anything horribly wrong, not against Konoha at the very least, and his actions in bringing back Orochimauru and the Kage saved them all. Without him, there would be no alliance let alone Konoha, and were it not for his whim, he would have destroyed Konoha when he went there. What's more, he understands the villages worth, so he would make a perfect Hokage.
